HelmCustom apps

Apps are based on Helm Repositories and Helm Charts. You can create your app charts and install them in Rancher.

RISE charts repository

The default rise-charts repository is hosted here:

https://gitlab.ice.ri.se/ice/helm

Fork our repository and modify the charts to suit your needs.

Custom repositories

Create your repository in GitLab and use it in your Rancher project:

  1. Select the project in Rancher's top dropdown menu.
  2. Go to Legacy ➡ Project ➡ Catalogs.
  3. Click on Add Catalog.
  4. Fill in the Name, URL, and branch. Select Scope: project and Helm Version: Helm v3.

You can now Launch your apps from Legacy ➡ Project ➡ Apps.
